Charter Seniors
Finish College Process on Top
Despite fierce competition among
college applicants this year, Penn Charter's Class of 2007
did extremely well with college searches and offers of admission,
according to Daniel F. Evans, director of College Counseling.
A survey of the class showed
that 94 percent of the seniors reported they are attending
one of their top-choice colleges. "Students and their
families clearly gave this process the time and thought that
it deserved," Evans said. "It is not surprising
that in the end they had tremendous options."
With 613 applications submitted
by 101 students, 61 percent of those applications were accepted.
Penn Charter seniors will attend 64 different colleges in
