Cum
Laude History
Founded
in 1906, the Cum Laude Society honors scholastic achievement
in secondary schools. Penn Charter was one of the original
seven schools invited to join (along with Tome, Phillips Exeter,
Phillips Academy, Evanston, Centenary Collegiate and Brooklyn
Polytechnic, all of which were once boys schools).
