Friends School Day of Peace: Sunday, April 4, 2004

Students and families are invited to join the Friends School Day of Peace, a day of education and activism.

Led by young Friends and students at Friends schools, the day will include morning workshops, a midday peace march from City Hall to the Liberty Bell, and an afternoon Meeting for Worship.

The day begins in Philadelphia at Friends Select School, 17th and Benjamin Franklin Parkway, and Friends Center, 1515 Cherry Street.
8:30-9:00 Registration (Friends Center)
9:00 Welcome (Friends Center)
10-12:15 Workshops (Friends Select)
12:15 Lunch (bring your own lunch and drink)
1:00 March from City Hall to the Liberty Bell
3:30 Speakers followed by Meeting for Worship at Arch Street Meetinghouse
