Penn
Charter's McCloskey Is "Coach of the Week"

For the second time in five
years, the National Football League (NFL) and the Philadelphia
Eagles have honored Brian McCloskey, head coach of the Penn
Charter School varsity football team, as "Coach of the Week."
McCloskey was honored for outstanding
coaching and dedication to his players. He won the same award
in 2002.
McCloskey received the award
at Veterans Stadium before the start of the Eagles' game against
the Carolina Panthers. He was presented with a certificate
signed by Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie, Eagles Coach Andy Reid,
and Gene Washington, director of NFL football operations.
McCloskey also was awarded $1000 for use in the school's football
program, plus two tickets for that day's game.
