Junior Seminar
During the winter trimester, juniors are required to meet with a college counselor once a week in a non-credit, non-graded class called Junior Seminar. In addition to giving the students an overview of the roughly 18-month-long college search process, counselors instruct students in the basics of SATs, SAT preparation, colleges, universities, college guide books, valuable Web sites, campus visits, interviews, applications and financial aid.

Senior Seminar
During the fall trimester, seniors are required to meet with a college counselor once a week in a non-credit, non-graded class called Senior Seminar. After having spent the summer visiting colleges and refining their “working list” of colleges to which they think they want to apply, seniors learn to write strong college essays, assemble applications, select teachers for college recommendations, send SAT scores to colleges, register (if necessary) with the NCAA Initial Eligibility Clearinghouse, apply for financial aid, and verify that their applications are complete at the colleges to which they have applied.
