From Society President Bruce K. Entwisle OPC '72

Welcome to the portion of the Penn Charter website dedicated to our vast alumni body, known formally as the Penn Charter Alumni Society!

As I start my second term, I look around the school and see a vibrant PC community comprised of the alumni, parents, teachers, students and administration.

Over the summer, the football field was renovated with new turf and a sprinkler system to maintain the field. Down the hill, the infield of the baseball diamond was also redone and looks to be in perfect condition. The activities building (aka - "New Gym") is about to undergo an extensive renovation, thanks to the generosity of an esteemed alum, Bill Graham OPC '58.

The development office has organized two committees (parents and alumni) to bring to conclusion the "Frameworks for the Future" capital campaign, which currently stands at over $34,000,000 with a goal of $40,000,000. Much focus this year will be to build a state of the art performing arts center, and should you visit the campus, you'll be greeted by a number of "YOPA" banners, proclaiming the "Year of the Performing Arts." There will be many events scheduled around this theme, and I encourage you to participate as dates are announced.

I want also to encourage all alumni to get involved in the capital campaign by either joining the Alumni Committee, or donating monetarily to this important project. Should you like to do so, please contact me or Bruce Begin in the Development Office.
