The Penn Charter Community sets sail Friday, March 16. In honor of the retirement of Head of School Earl J. Ball, and in recognition of his interest in sailing, the theme of the auction is "Charting the Future, Celebrating the Past."

How can you help?
Attend the Auction: After March 14, $60 per person at the door. If you paid to attend the auction, simply check in at the door by giving your name: no tickets necessary.
Bid on an Item: We're accumulating an awesome list. Check weekly for the latest items.
Volunteer Time: On the evening of the event, volunteers are needed to set up the auction, assist with check-in and check-out, and help with bid sheets and table closings. Contact Auction Chair Lisa Toll.

Who and what does the auction benefit?
The biennial auction is the most important fund-raiser of the Community, the organization of Penn Charter parents who work to support our school and our children. Auction proceeds fund Community activities and contribute to the school's operating budget. This year, we have an even more ambitious goal: To raise enough money to make a sizeable contribution to the new Ball Theater, a 650-seat gathering place inside the David L. Kurtz Center for the Performing Arts. This donation will honor Pam and Earl Ball, two people who have had a profound impact on this school and our families. Our donation celebrates the Balls' history here - and it also looks to the future and a stunning new performance center that will enhance the education of our children and generations of children to come.
