Penn Charter Seniors Finish College Process on Top

Despite fierce competition among college applicants this year, Penn Charter's Class of 2007 did extremely well with college searches and offers of admission, according to Daniel F. Evans, director of College Counseling.

A survey of the class showed that 94 percent of the seniors reported they are attending one of their top-choice colleges. "Students and their families clearly gave this process the time and thought that it deserved," Evans said. "It is not surprising that in the end they had tremendous options."

With 613 applications submitted by 101 students, 61 percent of those applications were accepted. Penn Charter seniors will attend 64 different colleges in 21 states and the District of Columbia. Click here for the 2007 college matriculation list.
