Penn Charter Students Win National Merit Recognition

Members of our Class of 2007 were recognized by the National Merit, National Hispanic and National Achievement Scholarship Corporation for their performance on the 2005 PSAT. Here are the categories and students:

National Merit Scholarship Corporation: These sixteen students are among the 50,000 highest-scoring participants (top 3.5%) of some 1.4 million program entrants. Elizabeth J. Bak, Anne P. Bryan, Aubrey L. Bryansmith, Amanda R. Davis, Kathryn C. Delaney, Julia K. Garden, Elizabeth M. Golden, Audra Hugo, Chase Irwin (also in National Achievement Scholarship Program), Dylan S. Isaacson, Ellen R. McDevitt, Alexander R. Moss, Charlotte A. Revol (also in National Hispanic Recognition Program), Steven B. Suway, Sean Troyer, Samuel A. Weinrott.

National Hispanic Recognition Program: These two students are among the 5,200 highest-scoring participants (top 3%) of some 175,000 program entrants. Gabriel Parra and Charlotte Revol.

National Achievement Scholarship Program: These two students are among the 4,600 highest-scoring participants (top 3.5%) of some 130,000 program entrants. Chase Irwin and Dara Scarborough.
