Upper School Book Club

The Upper School Book Club meets during lunch on Wednesdays in Gummere  Library. All students in grades 9-12 are welcome to join in at any time. Students who attend regulary and read the book choices are able to satisfy credit for a 40 hour activity. The students, with input from Ms. Bender, Librarian, choose what the group will read and also share other books they've read on their own. The students also host special events in the library and have even planned an assembly in celebration of Banned Books Week. Book club members belong to a special Penn Charter Upper School group on the Goodreads.com social networking site.
