The Lower School art curriculum offers a range of diverse art experiences that enable students to communicate visually and practice using 21st Century thinking skills. Our young artists are challenged to think creatively and critically, to solve problems and communicate, to elaborate and collaborate. Creating visual art connects our students with what they learn in other classrooms as well as with what they experience in the world around them. Through art-making, students strengthen their design thinking skills and increase their self concept.
