Penn Charter Performing Arts presents Godspell, the Upper School musical, on Feb. 24 and 25. We invite alumni to check out our performing arts program.

The Penn Charter Alumni Society invites you to the 30th annual Bert Linton Golf Outing on Monday, April 24. This year's event will take place at the Union League Golf Club at Torresdale.  We are pricing this annual Scramble Tournament at $250 per golfer, Early Bird (prior to Feb. 28), and $275 thereafter. This cost includes the entire day's activities: giveaway, lunch, golf, cart fee, dinner, open bar and prizes. Space is limited so register today!





Penn Charter Downtown Reception. On Thursday, Jan. 26, the Alumni Society welcomed Ray Benson OPC ’69 back to campus, where he spent the day with students from all three divisions. That night, Ray was our featured entertainer at the Downtown Reception, which celebrated music at Penn Charter. Story and photos.

OPC Reception with The Goldbergs. On Monday, Feb. 13, OPCs from the Southern California area joined Adam Goldberg OPC '94 on the set of the hit ABC sitcom The Goldbergs. Alumni were invited to tour the set and attend a shoot and were joined by PC’s own Rick Mellor OPC '69, former head of school Earl J. Ball Hon. 1689, and another of Adam's Middle School teachers, Charlie Brown. See photos from the event. 



Matt Ryan OPC '03 had a spectacular football season, winning the NFC championship and the NFL's MVP award. Here is just some of the coverage that connects Matt to his alma mater and showcases how hard PC rooted for him in the Super Bowl.

Michael (Mickey) Maley OPC '03, assistant director of public programs at the Franklin Institute, or "professional explainer of science," was interviewed for a story and video about the science behind slime – and a recipe for edible slime.

Gabriella DiGiovanni OPC '13 was the "poolside reporter" for the Big Ten Women's Swimming and Diving championships on the Big Ten Network (BTN) on Feb. 19.

When Erik Weihenmayer, the only blind person to reach the summit of Mt. Everest, spoke to Upper School students about overcoming fear and boundaries, his father and his father's classmates from the Class of 1958 came to hear and support him:  Ed Weihenmayer, Bob Harting, Rodger Wichterman, Bob Morrow, Stephen Ruckman, Ross Hibbert, Bill Graff, Courtnay Pitt, Jef Corson.

Micah Holloway OPC '14 (center) recently met up with Isabel Hirshberg OPC '15 (left) and Margaux Losty OPC '14, who met at the Princeton-Cornell squash match. Izzy and Margaux each won their respective matches; Micah plays football for Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
