Middle School parent Crystal Lucas sent this heartfelt message about why she loves Penn Charter.
Testimonials like this are incredible reminders of why it's a great day to be a Penn Charter Quaker.
My son Isaiah is a 7th grader here at PC. Although we just began our PC journey last year and are still a fairly new PC family, I've already developed a list of things that touch me so affectionately about this community.
I love that when I drop my son off each morning, I know that he is going into the caring and capable arms of people who really want to see him succeed.
I love that when I have a question about anything, I always feel my concerns are taken seriously and listened to with care.
I love that in such a short time, my son has made friends and genuine connections with people who are so wonderfully different than he. I love how protected and safe yet unsheltered the learning environment is at PC.
But most of all, I love that no matter how many late nights he spends on homework, how tired he is during the 40-minute drive we take to get here each day, or how daunted he might feel facing a new challenge or assignment, my son tells me there's no other place he'd rather be. And for me – that's everything.

PC's Middle School offers up another short video inspired by The Goldbergs. In this one, new students experience lunch in the PC cafeteria for the first time and it is not what they expect!
By now most people know that The Goldbergs, created by Adam Goldberg OPC '94, features a few characters based on Penn Charter faculty, who, in the show, teach at Penn Charter Academy.
Inspired by The Goldbergs, PC middle school students dreamed up a coulple clips of their own. This one features the very popular Dodger Down game and longtime teacher Rick Mellor.
Every day at Penn Charter is a great day for the Middle School's James Fiorile. He grabs his coffee and enjoys his walk to his classroom, saying good morning to students and colleagues who are making their way to their 'positions' before the show begins at 8:10 a.m.
