Community:
Supporting Our Children and Our School

The Community is the parent organization of William Penn Charter School. The Community refers to the organization of parents who work in support of the school and our children throughout the school year.

If you are a Penn Charter parent, more information about the Community, including the names and contact information for Community leadership and committee chairs, is available when you log on to the Parent Portal. If you are having trouble with your username or password for that process, please e-mail Database Manager Rachel Dyer at rdyer@penncharter.com.

Next Community Meeting

The next Community meeting is Thursday, March 4, 2010, at 7 p.m. in Timmons House. Note the evening time.
The Community thanks Budd Cohen for his informative and entertaining presentation about food service in the cafeteria. For more information, check out the Menu page to view the list of local farms where Budd has been purchasing produce and to learn more about how Budd is incorporating the concept of stewardship into the food service operations.

Penn Charter Biennial Invitation Art Show: Volunteeers Needed!

Other Volunteer Opportunities

We look forward to your involvement in the Community, because the active involvement of so many of our families enables us to provide such a wide-range of activities.

Volunteers in all capacities are most welcome and much appreciated. To volunteer and support the Community in 2009-2010, please print the volunteer sign-up sheet and return it to Community Cochairs Jane Cripe or Cynthia Turner. Contact Jane or Cynthia with questions:
