Boys BKB Season Ends at GA

After dropping both decisions to Germantown Academy during the Inter-Ac campaign, Penn Charter's boys basketball team hoped to cause some sweat for its archrival Monday night in the quarterfinal round of the PAISAA Tournament.

The Quakers did just that . . . at least for a while.

Girls BKB, Boys Track, Wrestling Action

For Penn Charter's girls basketball team, Senior Night turned into Perfect Chemistry Night.

Coach Joe Maguire's crew notched 23 field goals in a 58-46 win over SCH Academy and 19 were made possible by assists. That's 82.6 percent. (Major thanks to the trusty calculator.)

Penn Charter has provided student athletes with resources to match their talents. On 44 acres, Penn Charter offers its players and fans:

  • five grass playing fields, two synthetic turf fields, one all-weather, eight-lane track, seven tennis courts, 10 squash courts, four basketball courts, and one swimming pool.
  • PC has four buildings designated for athletics: Graham Athletics Center — with the new Blaine A. Steinberg OPC '11 Center for Fitness and Performance  Kline & Specter Squash Center, Ray Dooney Field House, and the Old Gym.
