Golf, Polo and Soccer Action

The Inter-Ac League' second invitational golf tournament of the fall did not go as well as did the first for Penn Charter, which hosted and won that one.

But in No. 2, played Monday at Sunnybrook Golf Club, SCH Academy's home course, there were some notable performances.

Boys Soccer Win Caps Busy Weekend

As the first 40 minutes wound down, Bob DiBenedetto, Penn Charter's boys soccer coach, muttered to no one in particular, "That's the worst half of soccer I've ever seen."

Girls Polo and Hockey Lose at Home

Three Contests, Two Wins for PC

Every football team would be thrilled to average a first down per play, and it doesn't happen too often.

In the first half of a non-league game Friday night at Bonner-Prendergast, Penn Charter averaged almost three first downs per play.

Ten plays. This whopping total: 272 yards.

Girls Water Polo Convincing in 15-10 Win

  • five grass playing fields, two synthetic turf fields, one all-weather, eight-lane track, seven tennis courts, 10 squash courts, four basketball courts, and one swimming pool.
