Parents Athletics Guide

We welcome you to a new school year and sports seasons. The purpose of this guide is to explain the mission, objectives and expectations of the Penn Charter athletic program.

The success of the athletic program at Penn Charter is a team effort. Parents are key to this success as you assist and support your sons and daughters practicing and playing within the program. It is our goal to ensure that you feel well informed and confident in your ability to support your children within the Penn Charter athletic experience.

Go Charter!

The size, complexity and success of athletics at Penn Charter are evident on a fall or spring afternoon when the fields are pulsing with players, coaches, officials and fans and the air carries the sound of cheering, an umpire's whistle or the crack of a bat on a baseball.

The numbers tell some of the story, too.

Why We Play

"Requiring everyone to play sports creates a positive environment – it keeps you at school longer hours. Playing field hockey was really rewarding. I would say it shaped my experience at Penn Charter."
