Fall Athletes Honored for Great Season

The Fall Sports Awards ceremony honored outstanding athletes and students as it celebrated a season that was memorable for individual achievements and team successes, including – but not limited to! – the following:

  • Paige Hodges and Natalie Williams went undefeated in girls doubles tennis.
  • Girls soccer advanced to the quarterfinals and boys to the semis of the PAISAA tournament.
  • In the PC/GA Day game, Mike “Neeko” Hnatkowsky threw to a school record 390 passing yards in a single game, Chris Tucker came up with 114 receiving yards and Cody Sweeney with 165 receiving yards in a single game.
  • Senior Kenny Bergmann received a Mini Max award from the Maxwell Football Club for his quality work at defensive end. He is one of 61 players nominated from eastern Pennsylvania.
  • Football won the 129th PC/GA Day game 45-17. PC won the day – and took home the Competition Cup.

Athletes, coaches and parents celebrated the season Dec. 2, in the Kurtz Center.  Each team was recognized and 28 varsity players received individual awards. In addition to the Penn Charter awards, the Inter-Ac named 32 PC students to All-League teams. See the tables below for details.
