Directions to Penn Charter
Our campus is easily
accessed by Kelly Drive, the Schuylkill Expressway and Roosevelt
Boulevard. Go online for directions to 3000 West School House Lane,
Philadelphia, PA 19144, or use these directions.
From City Line Avenue:
From
City Line, follow the signs to Lincoln Drive. Once on Lincoln Drive,
move to the right hand lane and make a quick right turn onto Gypsy
Lane. (Watch for the two-story police station at the corner of Lincoln
Drive and Gypsy Lane.) At top of hill, turn left onto School House
Lane. Drive through Philadelphia University campus and the intersection
of School House Lane and Henry Ave. Penn Charter is not far ahead, on
the right.
From Center City Philadelphia:
Take Kelly
Drive to Midvale Avenue, turn right onto Midvale Avenue. At the top of
the hill, turn left onto Henry Avenue. At the second traffic light,
turn right onto School House Lane. William Penn Charter School is on
your right in the middle of the block. Or, if you prefer to take the
Schuylkill Expressway, follow the next set of directions.
Via the Schuylkill Expressway:
Take
the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) to the Lincoln Drive exit. Follow
Lincoln Drive to Rittenhouse Street and turn right. Take Rittenhouse
Street to the first light and make a right onto Wissahickon Avenue.
Take Wissahickon to School House Lane (second traffic light) and turn
right onto School House Lane. William Penn Charter School is in the
middle of the block on your left.
Via Interstate 95:
Take
I-95 to I-76 West. Follow above directions for the Schuylkill
Expressway. Via the Pennsylvania Turnpike: Exit Turnpike at Norristown,
Plymouth Meeting (Exit #25/333). Go right after the exit and head east
on Germantown Pike to first traffic light. Make a right onto Chemical
Road. Go through three lights and at your fourth light, make a left at
the five point intersection onto Ridge Pike. Make a left and take Ridge
Pike to the Henry Avenue cutoff (bear left). (You’ll be on Ridge Pike
for approximately 3.5 miles.) Take Henry Avenue about 6 miles to School
House Lane. Turn left on School House Lane.
