On Monday, Feb. 3, middle schoolers faced off against faculty in preparation for the Math Counts competition later this month held at Temple University. Designed to "get the jitters out," this practice round was intense as students and faculty had to quickly solve math problems in front of an audience of other students. The students were ultimately victorious, besting the faculty 5-3!

Penn Charter’s transition from Advanced Placement to its own rigorous advanced courses provides for innovative teaching and deeper student engagement.
Nine students from Escuela Martín Buber participated in a foreign exchange program last winter, and seven PC students visited Argentina this summer to complete the exchange.

PC educators have sought to create “windows and mirrors” when teaching about and discussing diversity, equity and inclusion.
We recently hosted students from Argentina as part of a two-week foreign exchange program. The visiting students engaged in various educational, cultural and recreational activities.
Upper School students partnered with Lower School students to develop outdoor learning experiences for the playground.
Registration is now open for session two of our Lower School After School Program, which runs Monday, Dec. 4 to Friday, March 8!

Functions and Trigonometry, an Upper School math course, is designed to reinforce and build upon topics learned in algebra and geometry, with an emphasis on problem solving, multiple representations of functions, and written and verbal communication skills.
