Last Regular-Season League Game on Palaia Field

Fans, friends and families turned out to celebrate PC baseball on May 11, the occasion of the last regular-season Inter-Ac game on Palaia Field.
Baseball is moving across School House Lane to the Strawbridge Campus and a new facility that is the first building project in Penn Charter's exciting campus transformation.
In addition to perfect spring weather, the celebration featured grilled hot dogs and popcorn for all, posters of memorable baseball teams and moments, and a rendering of the new baseball facility (above).
The game began with a ceremonial lineup in the infield and the Quakers showcased great effort and provided fans with an entertaining matchup. The score was tied 2-2 after seven innings, but Malvern scored a run in the eighth to take home the victory.
Aaron Maione and Mike Siani highlighted the team’s efforts at the plate as the team earned six hits against strong pitching from the visiting team.
