With a successful fall sports season now concluded, Penn Charter's Director of Athletics Michael Brooks had the honor of recognizing the accomplishments of PC's student-athletes during the Fall Sports Awards Ceremony on Nov. 29 in the Graham Athletics & Wellness Center.
In his opening remarks, Brooks expressed gratitude to several individuals for their collective contributions to the success of the student athletes and, ultimately, the school. Those acknowledged included Brian Hecker, assistant director of Middle and Lower School athletics; the athletic training staff; strength and conditioning coaches; Gerry Sasse, equipment and uniform manager; security personnel; the facilities and transportation department; the marketing and communications team; and Head of School Karen Warren Coleman, David Brightbill, Kim Berndt and the entire Upper School leadership.
With the entire Upper School student body, faculty, staff and supportive families in attendance, student athletes from 10 fall sports teams were celebrated for their hard work and exceptional performances.
