Mike McGlinchey OPC '13 Drafted by 49ers
Michael McGlinchey OPC '13, with his parents, Jan and Mike, flew to San Francisco this morning so Mike could sign his new contract with the 49ers! McGlinchey was drafted 9th in the 2018 NFL draft last night.
He stayed close to home—pictured above with some OPCs at Giuseppe's in Richboro—to receive the much-anticipated call.
The crowd of 100+ relatives, Penn Charter coaches and classmates, and Notre Dame friends fell silent when McGlinchey's cell rang. And erupted with a roar when he hung up.
