Congratulations to the Penn Charter Class of 2025! The rain didn't get in the way of a beautiful Commencement celebration on Saturday, June 7 in the Graham Athletics & Wellness Center, as our graduating seniors, surrounded by family, friends, faculty and staff, celebrated their Penn Charter journey.
Trustee Paul Hough OPC '77 led a scripture reading followed by silent worship in the manner of Friends. Student speakers followed, including Arielle Willis and Bridgette Gold.
Louella Whitaker, senior class clerk, presented the Senior Gift. Head of School Karen Warren Coleman presented the Phi Beta Kappa Award to Fiona Brady (given to the student outstanding in scholarship in the graduating class), and Alumni Society President Edward Morris III OPC '94 presented the PC Alumni Society Senior Award to Oliver Jackson (given to a senior who on qualification of scholarship, character, leadership and athletic ability exemplifies the best PC type).
After the presentation of diplomas, the ceremony ended with Quakers Dozen and the Penn Charter Commencement Band performing "You’ve Got a Friend" by Carole King, followed by the Penn Charter alma mater.
Congratulations, Class of 2025! We are so proud of you!
