What a day to be a Quaker! Thank you to everyone who participated in our 11th annual Great Day to Be a Quaker on March 11, 2026. From the Senior Family Breakfast and lively photo booth experiences to appreciation stations and special treats for students and faculty, Great Day was a truly special day for our students and the entire PC community.

Because of so many members of the extended Penn Charter family, we were able to meet and exceed our matching gift challenge from the Board of Trustees, along with additional challenges from senior parents, the Alumni Council and the Kurtz family. Together, we helped raise more than $600,000 from over 700 donors! And congratulations to the YELLOW team for winning our friendly competition!

As Head of School Karen Warren Coleman shared, "On Great Day, we came together as a community--parents, OPCs, faculty, staff, students, grandparents, trustees and friends--to not only meet each challenge but also to reflect on what it means to be a part of this incredible school."

Check out a photo gallery from the day, and enjoy this Thank You video from Dr. Coleman.
