Holi at Penn Charter

Open to 11th and 12th graders, teacher Sharon Ahram’s Peace, Justice and Social Change class explores the history of the U.S. Civil Rights Movement within the broader landscape of 20th century social movements. The course emphasizes the ways the African American Freedom Movement has shaped—and continues to shape—national conversations about equality, democracy and social justice.

From the senior family breakfast and festive photo booths to appreciation stations and special themed treats, our 11th annual Great Day to Be a Quaker was a tremendous success. We met every challenge and raised over $600,000 for our students and faculty. Enjoy some highlights from this exciting day of giving and community. 

On Friends Multicultural Day, Upper School students get to share their passions with their fellow students, creating presentations on topics of their choice.

Students, parents and teachers gathered for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, serving in PC's neighboring communities and reflecting on this year’s theme of integrity and justice.

In Penn Charter's Middle School, faculty and staff help students build leadership skills in a number of ways. Middle School assemblies, held each week, are one growth opportunity for students. 

Alumni reconnected at the festive fall gathering on the eve of Thanksgiving.

On Nov. 14 and 15, 2025, Penn Charter staged the madcap comedy Clue, based on the cult classic film and the popular board game.
