The Upper School's #ThisIsU/S Play Days are events focused on fostering connections across grades through fun activities during advisory periods. The first Play Day of the year, held on October 22, featured a school-wide game of Pictionary, with three more events planned for the year.

On September 30, Matt Ryan OPC ’03 was honored in advance of his induction into the Atlanta Falcons’ Ring of Honor. In attendance at the “Evening with Matt Ryan” was his PC football coach and PC math teacher Brian McCloskey OPC ’82, who spoke about Matt as a student and player at Penn Charter.

Bomba and plena music from Puerto Rico filled the Ball Theater as students learned a traditional dance.

Grades pre-K to 5 students all signed a steel beam that is now forever a part of the Richard A. Balderston OPC '69 Lower School.

PC students kicked off the 2024-25 school year with smiles, high-fives and an opening assembly that welcomed the community.
