On a sunny Thursday afternoon, June 8, a significant milestone was reached as our fifth graders bid farewell to Lower School. The Kurtz Center for Performing Arts was filled with an atmosphere of excitement and pride, as students, families, faculty, and staff gathered to celebrate the fifth-grade class. The Lower School Director, Marcy Sosa, guided the 1 p.m. ceremony and Head of School, Darryl J. Ford, delivered inspiring remarks. Students recited inspirational poems, reflections and messages of gratitude to retiring faculty; a video presentation of the fifth grade was displayed; and students sang "Walk through Life" by Pink Zebra and "Old Penn Charter" arranged by W. Earnest Wells. The Middle School Director, Wilson Felter, ended the ceremony by extending a warm welcome to the students as they embarked on their journey into Middle School.
Congratulations to the class of 2030! Enjoy the photos and have a great summer!
