The Bands Are Back Together
Penn Charter bands are back together!
Upper School Symphonic Band, for the first time in 411 days, gathered together in its entirety — from clarinets to tubas to snare drums — for an open rehearsal on Maguire Field. With covid-safe distance and accessories for instruments, it was a thrill to hear the 74 students perform together. Senior parents were invited to watch from the stands, and the performance was recorded for all to enjoy. Middle School 7th and 8th Grade Band returned to rehearsals last week, as well. MS Band Director Bradford Schoener led the group from the front patio of Middle School.
