In a high-stakes meet on Tuesday, the girls swimming and diving team beat Agnes Irwin and secured the Inter-Ac Championship for the second year in a row. The Quakers swam to a comfortable victory and finished their regular season undefeated. Junior Sally Foley's win in the 500 Freestyle was a highlight from the day. Foley was on pace to break the team and pool record, but just missed the mark previously set by junior Camille Weiss. Meanwhile, Weiss showed off her talents in other events on Tuesday, claiming first place wins in the 50 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke. Junior Avery Myers captured another first-place finish on the diving board and contributed to victories in all three relays. Tuesday also served as a day to recognize PC seniors for their contributions to the swimming and diving program. Bianca Bryant, Natalie Driscoll, Annika Murray and Ayana Opong were honored before the game, and finish their PC swimming careers as back-to-back league champions.
