Ari Baker is the director of Performing Arts and Specialty Camps. She joined Penn Charter as the theater manager of the Kurtz Center for the Performing Arts and as an Upper School faculty member of the Performing Arts Department in 2018. Currently the chair of the Performing Arts Department, Ari has directed the Upper School play Earl the Vampire and the musical Footloose. Prior to Penn Charter, she served as the production manager and camp administrator at Hedgerow Theatre Company in Media and as an administrator at the Society Hill Playhouse in Philadelphia. A native of King of Prussia, Ari earned her bachelor's in history and theater arts as well as her master's degree in secondary social studies education from the University of Pittsburgh.
