Teaching & Learning Center
We empower teachers and staff to grow professionally so that every student benefits from an outstanding educational experience.
The Teaching & Learning Center is built on the belief that Penn Charter's strength is powered by strong educators. By creating space for teachers to learn from one another, the TLC strengthens professional practice across our community.

Our Teaching & Learning Center advances excellence in teaching by investing in our educators. Through purposeful, ongoing professional development, the TLC supports faculty as reflective practitioners committed to refining their craft.

Teachers Teaching Teachers
The breadth of workshop offerings reflects our deep commitment to continuous improvement and instructional excellence. Sessions span a wide range of topics—including pedagogy, technology, the arts, wellness and enrichment, and a deeper understanding of students, ourselves and the world around us. Recent workshops have included topics such as neuroscience and learning, design thinking, restorative practices, social-emotional learning, artificial intelligence and digital storytelling. Faculty also engage in hands-on enrichment experiences—from rock climbing and yoga to zen-doodling and reflective journaling.
