·        January 5 - Gap Year Fair at PC; 1pm-2pm speaker; 2pm-4pm fair
·        January 11 - registration deadline for February 9 ACT
·        Individual student appointments with college counselor begin

FEBRUARY, 2019
·        February 8 - registration deadline for March 9 SAT
·        February 9 - ACT

MARCH, 2019

·        March 9 – SAT only
·        Registration deadlines for fall 2019 - spring 2020 ACT testing dates announced

APRIL, 2019
·        April 5 - registration deadline for May 4 SAT or SAT Subject Tests
·        April 8 - PACAC Main Line College fair at The Valley Forge Casino Resort, 6:30pm – 9pm
·        April 13 - ACT
·        April 22 - College Case Studies program for 11th grade students and parents, 7pm
·        Family conferences continue

MAY, 2019
·        May 3 - registration deadline for June 1 SAT or SAT Subject Tests
·        May 3 - registration deadline for June 8 ACT
·        May 4 – SAT or SAT Subject Tests (Juniors are encouraged to take two or three Subject Tests in Math Level I or II, U.S. History, a science, or a foreign language depending on their academic strengths)
·        May 6-17 - AP exam administration
·        Request two (2) letters of recommendation from teachers
·        May 22 - Essay Writing Workshop hosted by Writing Center faculty & college counselors
·        May 22 – Independent Schools’ College Fair at Germantown Academy, 6:30pm

JUNE, 2019
·        Deadline to request two (2) teacher letters of recommendation prior to close of school
·        June 1 – SAT or SAT Subject Tests (Juniors are encouraged to take two or three Subject Tests in Math Level I or II, U.S. History, a science, or a foreign language depending on their academic strengths)
·        June 8 – ACT  (PC Commencement)
·        June 14 – registration deadline for July 13 ACT

·        September 5 – Nuts & Bolts Evening Program for Class of 2019 Parents, 7pm
·        September 6 - registration deadline for October 5, SAT or SAT Subject Tests
·        College admissions representatives start visiting Penn Charter
·        Student access to Naviance Student is switched to “view only” capability
·        September 14 – ACT
·        September 20 - registration deadline for October 26 ACT
·        Students begin submitting “Pink Sheets”
·        Confirm two (2) teacher recommendations

OCTOBER, 2019

·        October 1 - Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available to file as required
·        October 1 - CSS Financial Aid Profile available to file as required
·        October 3  - registration deadline for November 2 SAT or SAT Subject Tests

·        October 26 – ACT
·        Visit colleges over Columbus Day Weekend
