Making empowered and informed decisions.
We partner with our students in constructing a foundation for lifelong health, wellness and healthy sexuality through our pre-K to 12 curriculum and programming. Students build self-love, confidence and advocacy skills, creating communities of care that support holistic health.
Children are learning about health, wellness, sexuality and gender from the time that they are born. Devoting time to these important areas in school provides the youngest members of our community with cognitively appropriate information they'll lean on throughout their lives.Wayne Grinwis, Lower School Health, Wellness and Sexuality Teacher

- Through units such as media literacy, substance use, and gender and sexuality, seventh graders focus on personal responsibility, self-efficacy and values.
- Eighth grade health offers students the opportunity to view health from a community-based lens. Topics covered include social determinants of health, mental health and relationships.
