Musicals are chosen with consideration for the school's values and student interest, to be a proper platform for talent, and as a way students can lean into the growth and expansion of their talent.

Shows are indicative of the whole of the arts program, and student effort and leadership are integral throughout — costuming, set building, stage management, design, lights and sound planning, music, singing, dancing, acting. Throughout a student's journey in the arts at PC, the talented teachers in the department provide foundations for success in school and beyond. Teachers are deeply invested in the work of the department and student success, often as mentors years after a student graduates.
