Disney's My Son Pinocchio: Geppetto's Musical Tale. Tickets are on sale now. This new musical is a retelling of the classic Disney story from Geppetto's perspective, featuring songs from the original animated film ("When You Wish Upon a Star" and "I've Got No Strings") alongside a fresh score by Oscar and Grammy Award winner Stephen Schwartz. The cast is over 75 strong with representation from all three divisions and the faculty. You won't want to miss this show!

Today at PC A group of Upper School students combined business and real-world experience at the inaugural William Penn Charter School Microfinance Conference Saturday, Feb. 2, a learning opportunity that evolved from Penn Charter's Microfinance Club. The two-year-old club, advised by Alyson Goodner OPC '96, has been exploring international and local microfinance, fundraising through schoolwide activities and making loans to entrepreneurs through Kiva.org. Fourteen Penn Charter student-athletes have committed to play their sport in college. At a ceremony honoring the athletes and their families, the students marked their plans to continue their athletic careers beyond Penn Charter. The seniors, alongside family, coaches and friends, celebrated their hard work and dedication to their sports. See more photos on Flickr. Go Charter! This year's College Keynote was given by Matthew Hyde, dean of admission at Lafayette College. Hyde discussed with Upper School parents the current admissions landscape, application trends, helping parents to understand their ideal role in their students' college search process and more. Penn Charter Summer Camps have been making summer fun for 50 years. New and returning camps include traditional Day Camp, Sports Camp, pottery, Minecraft, drones, rocketry, chess, DJing and lots more. Registration is open.
OPC Sightings Gabi Bembry OPC '14 visited to learn more about the organizations we supported on MLK Day; Sole Hope Shoes was one project that got its start right here at PC by one of our own students! Micah Holloway OPC '14, (left), and Eliza Jacobs OPC '15 (right), met Isabel Hirshberg OPC '15 at Cornell University to watch Izzy and Princeton play in the Ivy League squash finale on Feb. 9.
