• Penn Charter has reduced touch points throughout the school, including retrofitting soap and towel dispensers to be touchless.

  • Bathrooms and high touch points such as handrails, doorknobs, countertops, sinks, faucets and elevator buttons will be routinely sanitized throughout the school day.

  • Hand-sanitizing and hand-washing stations have been installed throughout campus.

  • Lower School playgrounds will be disinfected between use.

  • Additional personnel will be deployed in each building to assist with sanitation  throughout the school day.

  • All school buildings will be disinfected with an electrostatic sprayer.

  • All school buildings that are occupied during the day will be cleaned and disinfected every evening at the end of the school day. This includes hallways, stair towers, office spaces, common spaces, and additional cleaning of all classrooms and bathrooms.

  • All classrooms will also be outfitted with either wipes or a spray bottle and disposable towels. These cleaning materials will be available for use by teachers and students to use when they feel inclined to spot clean. Due to the cleaning protocols described above, teachers and students will not be charged with the cleaning of their classroom.
