Isolation at home continues to be a strong mitigation tool to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 in the community.
If a student or employee tests positive for COVID-19:
-
If symptom-free after five days of isolation, the individual may return to campus but must wear a high-quality mask (N95 or KN94) for an additional five days. The individual must also be 24 hours fever-free without the use of fever-reducing medication.
-
Any student or employee who develops symptoms of illness while at school will be assessed and tested by the health office nurses and further instructions will be given.
-
Penn Charter will maintain a flexible attendance policy for students and employees for all days at home during illness.
