Jason Chin is the 2023 Author-in-Residence at Penn Charter.
Award-winning author and illustrator Jason Chin will have three presentations to engage with all of our Lower School students as the 2022-23 Author-in-Residence. Mr. Chin actively researched his books by swimming with sharks and camping with scorpions, and he captured it all in his detailed illustrations! Some of his books include Grand Canyon (Caldecott Honor winner), Redwoods, Watercress (2022 Caldecott Winner), and his newest book, The Universe in You. In creating his books, he combines his love of nature and science with his art.
