Kamali Thompson will speak at a Middle School assembly and in Middle School classes.
She will tell her story to students, and discuss the lessons of building confidence and learning from failure. In addition, Thompson will give fencing demonstrations and mini-lessons to PC middle graders.
Thompson is a retired fencer for Team USA and an orthopedic surgery resident. She is a 14-time national medalist and she created Sabre & A Stethoscope, a blog dedicated to education, fitness and travel.
