Each year in May, alumni come back to campus to reconnect with classmates, catch a game and see what's new on campus. We welcome OPCs to this year's events, listed below, as well as a student-and-teacher-led showcase of initiatives inspired by PC's Strategic Vision.
This year the Penn Charter Alumni Society is proud to announce that Steve Bonnie OPC '66 is the recipient of the 2016 Alumni Award of Merit. The Alumni Award of Merit is the most prestigious honor bestowed upon an OPC and is given “to a graduate of the William Penn Charter School whose character and outstanding achievement have reflected lasting credit upon this school.”
Throughout his time at Penn Charter, Steve Bonnie has served as a teacher, coach, advisor and friend, and has touched the lives of so many who have passed through the halls of Penn Charter. While his accomplishments are many, it is his unwavering devotion to Penn Charter and its students that make him an exemplary recipient of the Alumni Award of Merit.
The 2016 Alumni Award of Merit presentation will take place on Friday, May 6, 5:30-6:30 pm, as part of OPC Weekend festivities.
