The Middle School Green Club has robust interest that continues to build with each garden-related activity. So far this fall, Green Club has planted radishes in the garden behind our building. More recently, Green Club students took cuttings from a large spider plant and potted them to take home to study their growth. After both activities, students snacked on fresh parsley that is also growing outside of our building. Upcoming activities include an adopt-a-park program, an outdoor and off campus dog meetup, and making products from recycled material for holiday gifts. The Middle School Green Club meets weekly and is open to all students in grades 6-8. Students may join throughout the year. Josie Wallmuth and Jennifer Chernak are the club’s faculty sponsors.
