Fred, a retired Philadelphia Police captain, is vice president of St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Bridget Church in East Falls. He served in the United States Army and did two tours of duty in Vietnam. Fred, who everyone can agree is always happy and friendly, is both a cat and a dog person. He enjoys cardio workouts and swimming.
