I feel fortunate to be a part of the PC community, as I work with colleagues and families who value social and emotional education, just as much as academics. At its core, school counseling is about meeting students where they are to best help them grow, and in order to do that you really have to get to know them as individuals. This is the greatest joy of my job: learning about students and helping them learn how to be themselves. Be it during a counseling meeting, in the classroom, on the athletic fields or on the stage, PC affords me the incredible opportunity to get to know my students as the multi-dimensional people they are, because of all the opportunities the school community provides for social and emotional growth. Supporting students in their academic endeavors is important, but my ultimate mission is to ensure students develop into positive, kind, resilient adults who make a meaningful impact in their future communities.

When I am not at PC I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Whether we are hanging on the beach in Ocean City, New Jersey, trying out new food in the growing restaurants of Conshohocken or hanging out at someone’s house cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, I always find peace and solace spending time with loved ones.
