Mallory (or Mal for short) holds a M.S. in Exercise Science with a concentration in strength and conditioning from Springfield College and a B.S. in Exercise Science from Bloomsburg University. 
Before coming to Penn Charter, Mallory spent 10 years in the collegiate and semi-private strength and conditioning settings. She's previously worked at the University of Central Florida, the University of Kansas, Penn State University, and the University of Maine primarily with soccer, basketball, rowing, and tennis teams.

Through science-based training methods, she has been grateful to play a part in the success of her teams winning multiple conference championships, making their respective NCAA tournaments, and helping many of her athletes go on to play their sport professionally. She is certified through the NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and has her USA Weightlifting (USAW) Level 1 coach certification.

With her past experiences in the college setting, Mallory truly began to realize how much of an impact can be made if athletes began weightlifting before arriving on campus as a freshman. She loves having the opportunity to use her passion for weightlifting to empower and encourage her athletes to become strong and confident in whatever they want to accomplish in life. The most empowering thing she believes she can do is to get someone to do something they never thought they could do. 

Mallory also has competed in weightlifting, earning a first-place medal at the 2015 Crush Kilos with Cancer Weightlifting meet, while competing in the 2013 Pennsylvania State Olympic meet and the 2012 Bloomsburg Annual Powerlifting meet. She also played softball for over 15 years.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, being outdoors, spending time with her family, and browsing the aisles of TJ Maxx/HomeGoods, especially during Halloween. Her adorable little cat, Hazelnut, is also her pride and joy.
