January 22: Max Stossel

Max Stossel is an award-winning poet, filmmaker and speaker. Stossel is head of education and a founding partner of the Center for Humane Technology, a nonprofit dedicated to realigning technology with humanity's best interests.

Stossel speaks to educators, students and parents about the addictive and distracting nature baked in to social media design. Having run social for multinational brands and worked for a social media company designing notifications, he offers his unique perspective on the role of technology in schools and society.

On Wednesday, Jan. 22, Max Stossel will speak to Upper School students and faculty and attend several classes.

Penn Charter welcomes all parents to an evening presentation and discussion with Stossel on the subject of social media and technology. The presentation is at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22.
