March 18: Liz Thom OPC '10

 

Liz Thom OPC '10 is a doctoral student in social policy and government at Harvard University. Her research centers on the decline of social mobility in American society and investigates how government policies contribute to inequality. Before starting her PhD studies in 2018, Thom worked at the Brookings Institution where she studied with journalist EJ Dionne and worked on projects related to American values, the role of religion in public life, political polarization, election reform and effective public management. Thom will serve as keynote speaker for the Upper School Cum Laude Assembly.
