OPCs of Color Fall Gathering

More than 100 alumni came together for the OPCs of Color Fall Gathering on Tuesday, Nov. 25, filling the evening with warmth, reconnection and PC pride. The annual celebration highlighted the bonds OPCs share with one another and with the broader PC community, creating a space for conversation, reflection and gratitude on the eve of Thanksgiving.

The program was an opportunity for alumni to learn ways to deepen their engagement with Penn Charter and help shape the next generation of Quakers. Options include  mentoring current students, as well as supporting the Cheryl Irving Student Diversity Conference (April 18), participating in the Kenny Caldwell Kickball Tournament, connecting with the Black Student Union, and exploring the Independent School Teaching Fellows (ISTF) program.

Head of School Karen Warren Coleman thanked OPCs for their continued care and support for their alma mater, and for the many ways they "continue to both enrich our community and make Penn Charter proud.”
