Sun-soaked 126th Color Day

Another Color Day for the record books, filled with sun and plenty of fun!

In perhaps a first, the rope snapped during the senior rope pull, and after the teams unpiled, Steve Bonnie OPC '66, the official rope pull judge, determined that Blue had emerged with the red flag! Thus, Blue won the senior rope pull, but Yellow won the day. The final score was Yellow 19, Blue 18.

Each grade's relay was exciting and garnered cheers from students, faculty and parents alike.

Thank you to our student musicians who played with fanfare, and to Debbie Kaesshaefer Hon. 1689 for leading the band in performing our alma mater, a fitting tribute as she steps down as chair of the performing arts department this year.

Big thanks to the Parent Community for the wide variety of food and drink options in the booths, and for their robust cheering section.

Be sure to check out all the Color Day photos.
