Each year Middle School and Upper School ensembles delight the audience during the Small Ensemble Concert. Girls a Cappella, Boys a Cappella, Quakers Dozen, the Brass Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble and String Ensemble perform works from classical to modern.
"The Small Ensemble Concert is a fantastic opportunity to present a mosaic of offerings for students at Penn Charter." Upper School Band Director Brad Ford said. "Seeing students in small groups on flute, strings, brass, vocal and percussion groups is amazing, and so is this evening of diverse music from around the world and throughout history. To hear a concert featuring music from the time of Bach to Bjork is remarkable."
