Penn Charter Summer Camps Cancellation Policy 2024

With the reality that Covid-19 remains a community concern, Penn Charter will continue to monitor disease levels and follow recommendations of public health officials.

Covid-19 Refund Policy

Should the pandemic cause PC to cancel any of our 2024 camps, refunds will be processed in full. You will be notified of any cancellation via email. Deposits/registration fees paid (if applicable) will automatically be refunded to the credit card used. You will NOT need to email a request to the office. Please allow up to 15 business days for us to process your refund. After the process date, your account may take up to 7 business days to reflect the refund. For all other cancellations, the standard refund policy will apply. (See Standard Cancellation/Refund Policy below.)

If a family cancels due to Covid-19 related issues, a refund of camp tuition, minus the nonrefundable $30 registration fee, will be issued. If a camper misses part of a week due to Covid-19-related issues, a prorated camp refund will be issued. For all other cancellations, the standard refund policy will apply.

By registering, campers and their families agree that should they develop any symptoms in the days leading up to camp or during camp, they will immediately and voluntarily withdraw from participation in the camp until they have confirmed negative test results.

Standard Cancellation/Refund Policy

There is a one-time, nonrefundable registration fee of $30 per camper for the summer of 2024.

Refund Policy for Day, Sports, Performing Arts and Varsity Camps

  • If you cancel prior to 30 days before the session start date, a full refund except $30 registration fee will be issued.
  • If you cancel 7-29 days prior to the session start date, a refund of the camp tuition for session cancelled, minus a $100 cancellation fee and the $30 non-refundable registration fee, will be issued.
  • If you cancel 6 days or less prior to the session start date, no refund will be issued.

Refund Policy for One-Week Specialty Camps (not including Varsity Camps)

  • Tuition for one-week specialty camps is nonrefundable (except for Covid-19 related issues).

Please understand that we will have already planned to provide staffing and supplies needed for your child to attend our program.

Medical reason for cancellation

We understand that medical issues may arise over the summer or just as your child is set to attend camp. Please call us as soon as possible to inform us of your need to cancel. A written excuse from your child's physician will be required. If practical and mutually agreeable, we will work with you to accommodate your camper to participate in a later session.
